Having just visited the lovely Talli Roland I noticed something strange is going on out there in Blogland starting today - An A - Z challenge for bloggers.
Well, I’ve joined the merry bandwagon.
Thinking about where to start isn't difficult. I want a positive start. You may see from recent blogs, I haven’t been feeling too positive lately, I've rather lost my mo-jo. Sometimes living with chronic health problems can get you down. And the last eighteen months have been more of a challenge for me than the last twenty five years. However, as someone who’s maxim is, ‘There’s no such word as Can’t,’ it’s time for me to try and get it back.
Nan used to tell me I could achieve anything if I wanted it and worked hard enough. So my word to start the A – Z Challenge is ACHIEVE.
I am going to achieve my short term goals;
- To finish my novel in time for the RNA New Writer’s Scheme.
- To get 100 followers on the blog.
- To blog every day during April.
What do you aim to achieve today/this April?
Until another day
Bye for now
xx

Good for you.
My dad had a small sticker in his office saying, 'It can be done' and I've always tried to remember this.
Well, I've started off the month by going to the hairdressers - my appointment was for next week, but thankfully she kindly fitted me in and did my hair anyway.
And I'm sure you will achieve those goals! With the help of my test readers and new critique partners, I hope to complete at least half of the revisions in my manuscript this month.
Wow, that is really taking the bull by its horns! I shall try to follow your many blogs then but cannot promise to be always in time. But I send you my virtual support and tell you, again, that I believe in you!
That's great!
I'm going to try to write 20k this month and blog 26 days.
EEEP!!!
I love Talli Roland so I am so glad you found that she is taking part so that you could too!!!
You will achieve all the goals you listed! I know you can do it (even having just met you)!
I stopped in to welcome you to the A to Z challenge! It's going to be a ton of fun!!! I'm a co-host, should you need anything don't hesitate to ask!!! I do hope you'll stop by my neck of the woods and say hello! We'll also be having fun on twitter (I'm @jenunedited and we'll be at #atozchallenge)!
Hi Bluestocking Mum
A great subject to start the challenge. I'm now a follower, so you are one nearer to achieving your follower target! I enjoy your blog & good luck with everything.
Mari
Go for it girl! You will surely achieve your goals. I have joined your followers too.
Good start, we're with you all the way.
Like you, I want to stay positive and keep up with my writing this month. I also hope to find a small set of blogs this month that appeal to me, and that I follow long after Z.
Stick with your book and your blog. You can do it.
Best,
Joe Richardson
Best wishes with your goals for this month....I helped with goal number 2. :-)
Hi BlueStocking Mum .. good for you joining us .. and Talli is great - so welcome aboard .. the A - Z will be fun! Cheers Hilary
Hello. You Go Girl! I'm on my 5th chapter of a YA historical fiction, "Winnie's War." It's based on my mum's life as a stowaway warbride from Birkenhead, England during WW2.
I'm following you. God bless.
So glad you joined up. And I've just become a follower, so you're well on the way.
I'm a chronic pain person who muscles my way through life anyway. I hear you on managing your health issues as well as not giving up on your dreams. 'Achieve' is a great start to the challenge.
I aim to achieve getting thru this Challenge. Wow! What a start!
Hope you have fun with it.
Contrary to my usual practice of subscribing to comments, to save time during challenge I will not be doing so during April. If you want to respond to my comment , please email me directly from your email notification for the comment.
Thanks.
